Questions:
1. Describe what your day might have been like as a packhorse librarian.

2. Why did the packhorse librarians risk their lives to deliver books?

3. What would you have said to a reluctant reader to get him or her interested in reading if you were a packhorse librarian?

  9. 1. If I were a packhorse book woman, then probably I would get very impatiant because I do not like going on long rides unless I have something to do every step of the way... at least if I took a pitstop then I would have a lot of books to read!! :)

    2. I think they risked their lives because they were very pationate and felt strongly that the children should be able to read whenever they wanted to.

    3. I would probably tell then the wonderful adventures in the book I'm telling them about but leave a mystery for them to figure out only if they read the book.

  10. 1. I would be exhausted, and buy books more than any other things I would buy.
    2. Because they want people to get interested in books, and make them to be an author one day. Then the people who got interested will publish a book, then the packhorse librarians can deliver those books, and on and on and on.
    3. I would tell them how books can get people more smarter, and be an author one day.

  11. 1 I would probally quit because I would not want to go through various types of weather to deliver some books.

2The packhorse librarians wanted people to enjoy books where there were barley andy books and wanted to educate others.

3 Books are treasures that you can visit over and over again. You will earn knowledge and learn. These books will not cost anything but a reader willing to read.
